In her practice as a WV litigation attorney, Ms. Wright provides legal counsel and representation for civil rights law, employee litigation, certificates of need, insurance defense, personal injury, contract disputes, oil and gas litigation, eminent domain, torts, and appeals. She enjoys being able to learn and expand her professional knowledge in a range of areas while working toward the best resolution of her clients’ legal problems.

Education, Experience, and Interests

Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Ms. Wright is a cum laude graduate of West Virginia University (WVU) with a bachelor’s degree in political science and criminology. She received her Juris Doctor from the WVU College of Law with a concentration in public interest law and was recognized with the CALI Excellence for the Future Award® in 2021.

During law school, Ms. Wright was a graduate assistant in the WVU Office of Equity Assurance, where she worked on Title IX matters. She was involved in the college’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Society, Public Interest Advocates, and the Women’s Leadership Council.

Ms. Wright also worked as a summer clerk at Lewis Gianola PLLC and a summer intern at Legal Aid of West Virginia during law school and provided mediation services as a volunteer for the West Virginia Magistrate Courts. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she served as a recruitment advisor for the Delta Chi fraternity and was the vice president of academic excellence for Kappa Kappa Gamma.

Admitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia, Ms. Wright is a member of the West Virginia State Bar.

In her personal time, Ms. Wright enjoys exploring the Mountain State with her fiancé, Nathan, and their rescue dog, Mac. She also spends her free time reading, gardening, cheering on the WVU Mountaineers, and traveling to spend time with family and friends.
