On May 11, 2020, Governor Justice released guidance for opening large retail stores. The guidance was released in advance of an Executive Order which will authorize the reopening of large retail stores and is expected on or about May 21, 2020.
The guidance covers the topics of operations and employee safety including the development and implementation of a plan; screening; sick employees; training; monitoring; cleaning; hygiene; touch points; restrooms; fitting rooms; return policy; common areas; personal protective equipment; tracing; phase in; telework; at-risk individuals; cooperation; and signage.
The guidance also suggests additional precautionary guidance to protect customers, employees, and the general public.
