Angela Ramsey is a senior associate of Lewis Glasser PLLC with the firm’s natural gas practice. Prior to this she was in private practice where she provided legal services to coal and natural gas clients throughout West Virginia. Those services included incorporation of, and advice to, coal, oil and gas business entities; title examinations of mineral interests, leasehold and fee; drilling title opinions, including identification of title irregularities, interpretation of lease provisions, reservations and grants of coal, oil and gas, type of mineral ownership, determination of necessity for curative documents and the preparation thereof; division orders; change of ownership opinions; and preparation of unit title opinions. She has rendered title opinions in all coal, oil and gas producing counties of West Virginia.
Ms. Ramsey’s background also includes working as an attorney in the Wood County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office as the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Prosecutor where she conducted hundreds of trials in both Magistrate Court and Circuit Court.
She is admitted to the West Virginia State Bar and practices before all West Virginia federal and state courts. Ms. Ramsey is a graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law and received her B.A. in Psychology from Wheeling Jesuit University.
Her professional affiliations include the West Virginia Bar Association, West Virginia State Bar, the American Association of Petroleum Landmen and the Energy & Mineral Law Foundation.
